While the first Dino Crisis was pure survival horror with raptors, Dino Crisis 2 went full action, and frankly, it was brilliant. You were racking up combos against hordes of prehistoric beasts, managing ammo, and desperately trying to survive. It was fast, intense, and had this incredible arcade-like flow that made every encounter thrilling. Capcom pivoted hard, and while it alienated some fans of the original, it created an incredibly unique, pulse-pounding experience that still holds up.
