Subnautica is a first-person game about survival in the deep sea. You control Ryley Robinson, a space traveler in the 22nd century, who crash-landed his starship on a planet that is covered almost entirely by the ocean. Dropped onto an alien ocean planet, *Subnautica* masterfully blends survival, crafting, and exploration. The initial wonder of its vibrant biomes gradually gives way to a profound sense of isolation and primal fear as players delve deeper into the crushing abyss. Subnautica took the survival genre and plunged it into an alien ocean, turning primal fear into breathtaking wonder. The sheer scale and beauty of its underwater biomes are astounding, but it's the constant tension of the unknown, the genuine sense of isolation, that truly hooks you. No hand-holding, just you and your wits against a terrifying, beautiful ecosystem. It’s a masterclass in environmental storytelling and emergent gameplay, far removed from rote resource gathering.

Alright, if you haven't played Disco Elysium: Final Cut, you're missing out on some next-level storytelling. This ain't your typical RPG; it's a detective game where you literally argue with parts of your own mind. The writing is just, like, unbelievably good, and the world-building is wild. The Final Cut adds full voice acting, making the already insane dialogues even more immersive. It’s an intellectual trip that'll mess with your head in the best way.
