Oh, Jade Cocoon, you beautiful, creepy PS1 gem. This wasn't your typical monster collector. The creature designs were wonderfully unsettling, and the fusion system was groundbreaking, letting you combine two monsters to create something entirely new, inheriting elements from both. It had this amazing, atmospheric art style and a sense of impending dread that few games managed. It's a forgotten piece of JRPG history that really leaned into its unique identity, and it still holds up visually.
