Sam Beckett, leaping through time, trying to put right what once went wrong. It was a science fiction show, but it had so much heart. Each week was a new adventure, a new character for Sam to inhabit, and always a moral lesson. But then, you had the overarching mystery of Al and Project Quantum Leap. It blended episodic storytelling with that longer thread, which was quite clever for its day. A real feel-good journey.
